Privacy Policy
Senior Budget Living does not sell personal information.
Effective August 1, 2026. The website is operated by J.M. Atencio (Michael Atencio). Privacy questions may be sent to info@SeniorBudgetLiving.com.
Newsletter information
The newsletter stores an encrypted email address, a one-way keyed lookup hash, delivery frequency, selected subjects, confirmation status, and delivery dates. Subscribers do not create passwords. Unconfirmed signup records are removed after 30 days.
Optional website analytics
Analytics do not begin until a visitor selects “Allow private analytics.” When allowed, the website records page views, approximate unique visits, clicks, searches, zero-result searches, referral domains, device class, and dates. The random visitor identifier expires after 30 days. Analytics records are retained for no more than 395 days. Raw IP addresses and full browser-identification strings are not stored in analytics records.
Visitors who select “Use without analytics” can still use the complete website. The Analytics choices control in the footer can change the selection.
Security and abuse protection
Public forms and owner sign-in use short-lived, keyed connection hashes to limit automated abuse. Raw connection addresses are not written to the rate-limit table, and rate-limit records are removed after no more than two days.
Reader questions
The question form does not ask for a name. It stores the submitted question and optional reply email in encrypted form. Do not submit government identifiers, medical records, financial account numbers, passwords, or other sensitive records.
Advertising measurement and inquiries
Paid advertisement views and clicks are counted only as daily totals by campaign and website location. These advertising totals do not contain a visitor identifier, name, email address, raw IP address, or individual browsing history. They are counted even when optional audience analytics are declined because they are required to operate and report a paid placement.
An organization that submits the advertising inquiry form provides its business name, contact name, email address, optional phone number, package choice, and message. The contact name, email, optional phone, and message are encrypted in the website database and used only to review and respond to the inquiry.
Cookies and local storage
The private owner dashboard uses a secure session cookie. The public website stores an analytics-choice cookie. When analytics are allowed, the browser also stores a random identifier with a 30-day expiration. Advertisement measurement does not add an advertising cookie. This release does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Why information is used
Information is used to deliver requested updates, answer submitted questions, respond to business inquiries, measure paid placements in aggregate, protect the service from abuse, understand which subjects require more coverage, correct weak search results, maintain security, and operate the website.
Cancellation, correction, and deletion requests
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Subscribers may also request a time-limited management link without creating a password. Other requests may be sent to the privacy contact above.
Outside links
Official-source and advertiser links lead to other organizations with their own privacy practices. Senior Budget Living does not control those outside websites.
